Here comes baby

I haven’t been posting much about the baby but that doesn’t mean much. The past few weeks have been filled with getting more stuff ready for the little one and trying to become mentally prepared for whats to come. Honestly, I’m not.

Baby on the Way

The expected due date is Jan. 20th but after the Dr. appt today, Mr. Baby can come at any time and they will not stop it. I guess it’s true. when he’s ready, he’s coming out. Pregnancy is such a process and as fun as it has been to see him moving around in the belly, it will be amazing to see him in real life.

We haven’t decided on a name but there are some that seem to be the top choices. I’m hoping that we don’t name our baby after the fact when mom is hopped up on drugs and I’m in a state of awe. It would be nice to know ahead of time.

Baby Blogging

So I have gotten some feedback about the site and what I should do with it. I’m going to be a lot more active and move away from some of my other projects. Baby is more important. So this is what I am going to do.

I don’t know if I am going to stick to a free WordPress account. I always start out this way then move to a self-hosted account. Like what I did with my personal site. It just allows for more flexibility and control. Everything still remains on a WP platform but I just have the ability to make the site into what I want without having to rely on the confinds of the free environment.

Before I can do that I need a nice banner created. I’m not a photoshop maseter so that may take time. Until then, I’ll continue posting here. When I do make the move there will be an announcement.

The Baby blog is going to be what I dump my mind onto explaining what I’m going through and asking for comments by you (my readers) on what you feel is the right thing to do in any given circumstances. No one raises their kid perfectly but I am sure there are many things that I should be aware of that I have not yet thought of. that’s where I’ll need your help. Maybe you are going to read the site because you have a little bundle of joy on the way. I’ll be sure to help you out in any way I can.
